Jeremy Friedman

Jeremy Friedman is Of Counsel at KJC Law Group, where he specializes in business litigation and appeals. His extensive legal experience includes achieving successful outcomes in civil litigation for plaintiffs and defendants, in business and real estate disputes, intellectual property cases, and other matters; real estate and business transactions; and criminal defense.

He is a graduate of Harvard College and Columbia Law School and served as a federal appellate law clerk.

His civil litigation experience spans diverse areas of law, including contracts, real estate, corporate governance, trademark and copyright infringement, negligence and other torts, construction defects, civil rights violations, and other types of claims, in federal and state courts. His advocacy covers representation prior to and during: mediation; arbitration; litigation up to and through trial; and appeals. In addition, he has drafted and negotiated real estate leases and other business agreements and has served as Vice President and General Counsel for a successful small business. He also has successfully handled numerous matters before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Also, he has worked on numerous criminal defense matters, in a wide variety of cases in federal and state courts.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Friedman served a one-year clerkship with the Honorable Eric L. Clay of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, sitting in Detroit, Michigan. Mr. Friedman graduated from Columbia University School of Law, achieving honors as a James Kent Scholar and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar; he also served as Managing Editor of Columbia Science & Technology Law Review. He graduated from Harvard College and then gained experience in media and telecommunications law, as a Research Analyst at a Washington, D.C. boutique law firm.
